Who are we?

We are the Barfields.  Luke and Trisha like dogs so much, we decided to start a hobby breeding business for our daughters.  We are entrepreneurs who own a few other small businesses.  Our daughters seem to have the same business mindset that hard work and dedication can lead to great satisfaction.  We got the idea of breeding after falling in love with our family's first golden retriever, Rio.  He is Luna's best friend (in the photo).  So, we started our "breeding" journey back in 2017 when we got Luna, knowing that it would take a few years and a lot of hard work until Luna had her first litter.

Why Puppies?

We have found such joy in the companionship and love that dogs bring to a family.  Golden retrievers are one of our favorite breeds because they are so loyal, gentle and easy to train. 

 

We love all animals! 

In addition to dogs, our family loves horses and all other farm animals.  We live on a hobby farm in Calhan.  Our daughters are so good with animals - taking care of them and training them.  

We take care of each puppy as if he/she is our own and we are looking for loving, healthy homes for these little guys!
